David long

David is an Oklahoma native from Bartlesville but has spent his most recent years living in Stillwater where he graduated from Oklahoma State with business degrees in Marketing and Management. David grew up in church all of his life, but it wasn’t until his freshman year of college that God opened his eyes to the gospel and called him to a true saving faith in Jesus Christ. This led to his involvement in college ministry and his desire to see people be saved and come to know Jesus. 

After graduating, David married the love of his life, Grayson. Then life took a few turns in their first years of marriage, before coming full circle and bringing them back to Stillwater. In the fall of ‘21, God opened the door for a full-time ministry opportunity with Resident Life Ministries, working with students at OSU. During this season, David grew to love the local church more and more and felt a strong desire to continue working in ministry to serve the local church after Resident Life. He has aspirations to pursue seminary in the future. As the family minister, David seeks to partner with families to equip the next generation to be life-long followers of Jesus who love him and want to make him known. 

David and Grayson have two children, Phoebe and Asher, and they absolutely love being a part of the Crestview family. And if David ever has something resembling free time, he enjoys time with family, especially intentional time with his wife, lifting, making homemade cold brew, reading John Piper, and along with all of this, he just loves getting to know people and having a good conversation.
